- Responsible for EKGs on patients in the NICU up to Geriatric
- Set up Stress Tests (non nuclear, nuclear, and echo), run the test, watch for rhythm changes, take blood pressures, and record vitals taken
- Stress tests are run on inpatients and outpatients
- Post test refreshments are made for the patient
- Preform Routine and Stat EEGs on both inpatients and outpatients ranging in age from NICU to geriatric
- Brain Death Studies have been preformed as well prior to extubation or organ donor harvest
- For outpatients I apply holter monitors and scan them when they are returned
- I alert the physician of any emergent cardiac rhythms prior to their reading
- Pacemaker interrogations on different devices (Boston Scientific, St Jude/Abbott, and Medtronic)
- Training others to preform the listed tasks above
