• Restraining animals for examinations and medical procedures
• Communicating with owners before and after routine and emergency examinations

• I previously worked as a dog handler and supervisor at a local doggie daycare and boarding center
• Duties included:
• Monitoring a group of 15 dogs
• Maintaining safety of dogs by observing body language and play
• Fed and watered dogs being boarded overnight
• Administered medication for appropriate animals being boarded overnight
• Supervised employees while manager not present
• Checked dogs in and out for daycare
• Checked dogs in and out for boarding
• Cleaned and disinfected daycare areas at the end of daycare
• Cleaned all water and food bowls used
• Maintained overall cleanliness of facility with daily tasks
