Summary
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I have worked/interacted with children in a plethora of settings. I find immense joy when children learn something new or accomplish something and then feel proud of their accomplishments. I also love seeing children grow academically, socially, and mentally. Whenever I am among children/students, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment. I am certified in Early Childhood Education but now have an interest in speech therapy and hope to shadow an SLP to see firsthand what they do daily.

I substitute teach in an elementary school (pre-k-4th grade). I ( to the best of my ability) follow the teachers' plans for the day. I also always try to incorporate some of my own strategies ( that I learned from previous field work) in the classroom.
