S I started off as an stower in Ric4 I always maintained and exceeded productivity and adapted fast . after that I then became and stow ambassador and did over 10+ classes teaching the stow function later than I became a PG “ process guide “

My role as an process guide was we had daily expectations and numbers to achieve . A few of them were to coordinate the daily morning start up , prepare to get the floor organized for the day and prepare for the next shift , coach and communicate all of the associates on the current floor that I was developing about daily safety , PPE , and productivity expectations . This role was so important to me because I developed an good example to others around me to a point where I consolidated a great team , my team each had their own assembled task as we worked and communicated together daily having a team that I built help me develop in so many ways because I learned something new every day , we had daily specified issues associates that were stowing would run out of PPE sometimes me or someone from my team would go grab them . For my problem solvers the leaking from damages or any tote would happen quite often so when that happens we would communicate with sizemore the janitorial team in the building and give them the directions defining where the spill is , they could not always get to it or get their when needed . So I was determined to better that because associates would sometimes get overwhelmed of the areas being left messy .

I then express and escalate that to safety in the building , the safety team in the building had an committee named the ASC “ associate safety committee” I put in an application to become apart of the committee and a few months later I was accepted and apart the ASC committee now , one of the first projects I worked on with another safety specialist was “ non hazardous spill kits “ they were in an red bin and contained , an broom with a dustpan , spray bottles , spill pads , disinfect wipes , all sizes of latex gloves , an yellow wet caution sign and paper containing the supply list . Me and another ASC associate that was on the floors with me was interested also from that point on we got started and start assembling the kits put everything where it needs to go . After that a day or 2 later we started to placing them on the floors , there were 8 on floors 2 , 3, 4 and 5 and on the first there were about 12-14 on the 1stfloor . As we were putting them out associates were literally using them immediately and putting down the wet caution sign it made me feel really good knowing they were going to be getting used on the floors .

Every since then sizemore is not getting called out for small spills on the floors anymore because they now have those tools on the floors . We are trying to make It a point where we refill them about every two to three weeks that way any of the kits would never run out of any supplies .
