- I began my employment as a busser when I was 16. I progressed through multiple customer service roles over seven years. I demonstrated a strong work ethic and professional growth which provided me with promotions within the business. I advanced from busser to hostess to my current position as a server. I am consistently balancing responsibilities of being a full time student and working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Over the seven years of employment I have developed strong communication and problem-solving skills that directly support effective classroom management and student support.

- During my capstone field placement, I instructed children in K–12 classrooms. I created and delivered my own art lessons while working hand-in-hand with an experienced cooperating teacher. This direct experience strengthened my instructional skills and prepared me for professional teaching roles.
