Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, insurance providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored interventions. Manage utilization review activities to promote appropriate resource utilization and compliance with payer requirements. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Evaluate quality metrics and implemented interventions to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and clinical outcomes. Monitor patient progress and adjusted care plans based on clinical status and healthcare goals. Facilitate discharge planning, referrals, and transitions of care to reduce readmissions and improve patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, disease management, and available community resources. Advocate for patients to ensure access to necessary healthcare services and support systems.

• Provide direct patient care, manage overall patient health, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Use critical thinking to provide specialized interventions for patients. Perform a wide range of tasks including physical assessments, administering medications, advocating for patients, monitoring vitals signs, educating patients, charting/documenting patient care, maintaining patient records, and discharging patients when applicable. Assist patients with ADLs and coordinated care with other staff members to provide quality, patient-centered care. Participate in initiatives to improve patient care and safety. Serve as a preceptor for incoming graduates during my tenure. Currently PRN.

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a variety of healthcare setting, filling temporary nurse staffing needs. Complete patient assessments, administered medications through all different routes, monitored vital signs, and educated patients along with their families. Deliver many different techniques/methods of care based on hospital and/or state policies. Collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care possible while maintaining autonomy for the patient. Adapt quickly to new environments in order to effectively and safely care for patients. Was offered renewals and/or permanent jobs at the end of each contract.

• Work under licensed mental therapists maintaining their schedules, appointments, and activities. Provide positive patient experiences. Schedule appointments with patients and check them in when they arrive. Observe the role of mental therapists and assisted where possible. Assist with billing.
