Brianna Winkler

• I over break work at The Learning Experience Daycare as a daycare teacher mostly in the Preschool classroom. Working with the preschoolers taught me a lot about classroom management, problem solving, and patience. I love working with kids of all ages in the daycare.

In my block 3 practicum placement I get to become more involved in the classroom and have the responsibility of teaching lessons to a class and also working closely with my students one-on-one. This placement provides me with more experience working in and being a leader in the classroom.

• In my Block 2 Practicum I gained great educational experience and learned a lot about being a teacher and dealing with students. I was able to observe my host teacher and also get involved in the classroom working one on one with students and also working with groups of students. I learned a lot about classroom management and lesson planning.

• In my Block 1 Practicum I gained great educational experience and learned a lot about being a teacher and dealing with students. • I was the head camp counselor for 3 years at a summer camp for kids. At the camp the kids range from ages 4-13. Being a camp counselor is great experience working with kids and great practice for being a teacher because you have to take care of and watch over an entire group of kids all day.
