  • Created and implemented several different social-emotional strategies and techniques to handle emotions, building relationships, following school rules, calming strategies and other skills to form classroom management and set children up for their time at Valley Elementary
  • Differentiated curriculum for 25 kindergarten students differentiating in language, social-emotional and academic abilities
  • Administered multiple assessments to create WIN (What I Need) tiered groups to review specific skills they need more help in and collaborate with my team and administrators to modify curriculum to suit varying learning styles and needs
  • Modified the math curriculum (McGraw Hill) to fit the learning styles and needs of my students - including engaging lessons, explaining and modeling directions, correcting behaviors, independent, small group and whole group lessons and pulling small tier 2 groups
