As a New York State lifeguard, my responsibilities are ensuring the safety of the swimmers at our public pools and beaches. Being a supervisory lifeguard entails leading our facility and overseeing our lifeguarding team. As a leader, I am seen as the primary point of contact between our team of lifeguards and our facility management. I ensure that our safety procedures such as rescues, first aid and emergency protocols are being followed at all times. As head lifeguard I do lead in the event of a medical emergency to ensure the safety our of patrons. Mentoring and evaluating my team of lifeguards is crucial, it provides the lifeguards with feedback on how their performance can be improved.

• Performed emergency rescues when necessary.
• Enforced all safety regulations and posted rules for patrons.
• Maintained accurate records of incident reports, pool chemicals, and patron counts.
• Assisted with orientation sessions for new lifeguards in training.

• Caretaker for quadriplegic elderly women.
• Assisting in daily activities such as meal prepping, hygiene care, range of motion exercises.
• Mobility assistance, such as transfers and assisting in wheelchair use.
• Administering medication and food.
• Provided assistance to disabled persons in accordance with their individual needs.
