Brick Pugh

I am writing this in regard to the available head coaching position and my candidacy of the position. I am currently in my second year of being the head football coach at Clements High School, with four years of experience teaching special education and six years of experience coaching. I am planning to take the PE Praxis exam to obtain certification in physical education. My mission is to run my program with a “You won’t, but I will” mentality. I want to teach my players to emphasize the importance of out-willing and out-lasting your opponent, both on and off the field. I feel that I have many talents to offer, both, the students and the staff of whatever school/football program I am a part of. I am passionate, enthusiastic, hard-working, and have a drive to help develop students and athletes. The experience that I have been fortunate enough to accumulate throughout my career as an athlete, coach, and teacher will help serve my students, players, and staff.
