• Staff Supervision, Onboarding, and Development:
• Assist with the hiring and onboarding process for incoming student employees to ensure departmental compliance with current HR policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Ensure incoming students are set up with the proper uniform, name badge, employee picture, access to the Rec, etc.
• Oversee new employee training, routine evaluations and schedule development
• Equipment & Facility Operations:
• Recommend best practices for staff communication and staff satisfaction
• Called to make judgment/ discretionary decisions when problems/ situations occur in the facility
• Oversee equipment and towel inventory and make recommendations on rotation of equipment as well as restocking inventory
• Recommend and implement operational improvement efforts and strategies to increase staff retention as well as general area development.
• Software Applications:
• Assist with providing support and regular maintenance for Innosoft Fusion Software including but not limited to equipment updates, trainings and improvement recommendations.
• Oversee the When2Work staff schedule and make discretionary decisions on requested time off.
• Assist in the management of RecRe and Towel Tracker units.

• Sales & Rental Duties & Responsibilities:
• Sales
• Handle all point-of-sale transactions, including locker and equipment rentals, towel service, and all other retail transactions.
• Maintaining, checking, and cleaning the facility
• Performs daily laundry services.
• Help in maintaining cleanliness of the Equipment Desk.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, fun, friendly, and inviting atmosphere for patrons.
• Recreation Operations: Maintaining, checking, and cleaning the facility
• Help in the maintenance and cleaning of the weight rooms, equipment, fitness rooms, and the facility overall.
• Complete all cleaning tasks that are required during shift, including facility cleaning, hygiene product restock in restrooms and locker rooms, facility trash collection, and light cleaning of fitness machines.
• Expected to help maintain a clean, safe, fun, friendly, and inviting atmosphere for patrons. Organize and disinfect fitness equipment available to members and guests on the fitness floor.
• Assistance with any department programming, set-up and clean-up of facility events, and/or administrative tasks.

• Making approximately 100 outbound calls a day in order to connect with and speak to new and potential clients or partners
• Conducted candidate screenings and interviews to identify qualified candidates for various construction related positions
• Aided in creating resumes, project lists, cover letters, and conducting reference checks for multiple candidates a day.
