• As first contact create a quality experience for all volunteers and guests
• Ensure a smooth registration process for volunteers including help with registering at kiosks for individuals and groups
• Respond to all public inquiries, vet calls and direct them to appropriate staff member
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar and set up special volunteer sessions
• Provide administrative support, assist with special events and projects as needed including flexibility with schedule
• Sales of branded merchandise
• Liaison to back of house creating a seamless transition for all volunteers when starting assigned session
• Comfortable working with external audiences ranging from 50-100 volunteers
• Maintain the integrity of Bernie's Book Bank mission, culture, brand standards, core values and goals at all times.
• Opening and closing duties

• Work with client to ensure they are able to stay in home
• Household, garden and pond upkeep
• Money and health management
• Power of Attorney for health (2 clients now deceased)
• Accompany to medical appointments and social gatherings
• Enthusiasm and flexibility when accepting new and unusual projects
• Availability for consulting and light emergency situations

Two year sailing adventure, did volunteer work to engage with the community. Events included Ironman Triathlon Races, Beach Clean-ups and more!

• Register students at class and assist teachers as needed
• Data entry for class registrations
• Run office when Executive Director is out of town
• Serve on Gala Committee, our main fundraising event
