Remote Registration Department Supervisor I

· Successfully established and lead a new department, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and strategic planning to ensure its smooth initiation and ongoing operations.

· Spearheaded th Remote Registration process for all Cleveland Clinic Northeast Ohio Emergency Departments, including Florida locations adhering to the compliance quality standards. This resulted in overall efficiency, an increase in productivity, and reduction in need for extra full-time employees or contracted staff.

· Developed and executed development plans for training and onboarding, resulting in a standardized approach. This included identifying skill gaps, creating development plans, providing training, and leveraging external resources. These efforts improved the seamless integration of the onsite team and the remote team.

· Mentored and coached a Patient Access Representative to transition into a Patient Access Work Leader through a customized training program. As a result, the employee successfully transitioned into the role, and the teams overall technical capabilities were strengthened.

· Promoted to Department Supervisor where I successfully lead a team of 25 direct reports through exceptional leadership skills. This resulted in a successful department, where metrics improved and exceeded, in addition to a multitude of new innovative initiatives.

· Implemented individual coaching and performance measures through customized training at the granular caregiver level. As a result, denials decreased, collections revenue increased, and turnover percentages trended downwards.

· Implemented the Remote Registration process to the onsite team, decompressing a shorthanded staff, increasing overall productivity, and decreasing inefficiency. Additionally, this resulted in a smoother more collaborative environment between the finance and clinical staff.
