Summary

At this present time, I am teaching 5th grade ELA at Summit Elementary School. However, I have held numerous positions that have enabled me to challenge myself as an educator; as well as, my students in mastering basic and fundamental skills in literacy. I am creative, nurturing and most of all, patient. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, highly qualified teacher who will make a positive contribution in the lives of students and teachers , whether it’s in the classroom or not. As an Academic Coach, I can be of great assistance and support to my fellow co-teachers and students in this district. I am not someone who sits idle, because I know the battles and challenging tasks teachers face on a daily basis. Though some have lost all faith in the public school system, I am a strong believer in public education because it gives every child an equal chance to be successful. The goal is to allow each to student and teacher maximizes his or her strengths so that “EVERY” student will learn to “READ, LEAD, and SUCCEED!”
