Work History

Deputy Court Administrator

City Of Guttenberg
Guttenberg, NJ
10.2024 - Current
  • Executed Warrant Reports: Review the report on PageCenter to be completed daily; pull the case, recall the warrant, change the executed status in the system if needed, and schedule for court in person.
  • Violation of monitoring: to be reviewed on the EMACS portal and completed daily, pull the case schedule, and retrieve the VOM from Ecourts to be placed on top of the case for the judges' review.
  • Remands: View remands on EMACS, and sometimes incoming emails print Promis Gavel information, schedule, and prepare the file.
  • Void/Dismissal cases: Once the void/dismissal form is completed, the ticket or complaint is printed, and the form is placed on top of the case for the judge's review on the next scheduled court date.
  • ECDR Daily Report: Review the report daily on the page center. In the event a issued complaint is indictable or a disorderly persons offense, it is transferred to the county superior court; if that is not the case, it stays in the municipal court. A folder is created and scheduled for arraignment.
  • DWI Cases: Review the E-Ticket report daily, print all Title 39:4-50 cases with any other related tickets, create a jacket, and include pre-completed DWI forms and a contact sheet for the defendant. Schedule arraignment within two weeks of the issue date.
  • Prisoner lookup and scheduling: Search for the defendant by SBI number to print all cases holding the defendant for the prosecutor and judge to review. Prisoner scheduling is coordinated with the jail or facility holding the defendant, and a video request form is sent along with the Zoom link needed to join the court session.
  • Attorney and Public Defender Cases: Upon receipt of the letter of representation, it is imperative that the attorney is entered into the system on the same day. If the attorney is requesting discovery, it is sent to the police secretary immediately to ensure that discovery is received before the next scheduled court date. This creates a quick and efficient flow, and moves cases in a timely manner. In the event that a defendant is requesting the judge for a public defender, it is my responsibility to email the defendant the public defender application and to retrieve the completed form before their next court date, so that it is reviewed and placed on record by the judge.
  • Mediation: For all cases that are scheduled for mediation, the mediator is to be provided with a copy of the complaint mediation forms and the Zoom link for the meeting. All parties of the case are to be notified and sent the Zoom link.
  • Change of Venue: Incoming change of venue cases are scheduled manually, and notices are sent to all parties of the case through certified mail. When the case is disposed, all original contents of the file are copied and filed away, while the originals are sent back to the court from which it was transferred.
