More Food for Africa Project (2015-2018), Conducted mechanization and irrigation feasibility studies for smallholder irrigation projects in Matabeleland North Province. Responsible for project implementation, including tractor distribution, training on usage and maintenance, and work supervision. This project significantly improved food security, nutrition, and livelihoods. FAO Support to National Capacity Development in Crop Post-Harvest Management (2016), Involved in designing and supervising the construction of metal silos and improved granaries in Nkayi and Lupane districts. Produced Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and trained farmers in post-harvest management techniques to enhance food security through improved storage. FAO Conservation Agriculture (CA) Program (2015), Provided training on the use and maintenance of conservation agriculture machinery and promoted CA principles in Bubi, Lupane, and Tsholotsho districts. The project improved crop productivity and food security by enhancing soil moisture retention. KOICA Agricultural Machinery Repair and Maintenance Project (2011-2012), Led the distribution of agricultural machinery and trained smallholder farmers in Matabeleland North Province on effective equipment use and maintenance. Food for Assets Projects: Small Earth Dam Design and Construction (2010-2018), Surveyed, designed, and supervised the construction and rehabilitation of small earth dams in districts like Tsholotsho, Binga, Hwange, and Nkayi, funded by various NGOs (e.g., Amalima, German Agro, Caritas). This project significantly enhanced water accessibility for agricultural and domestic use. Domestic Biogas Projects (2011-2016), Designed and supervised the construction of biogas plants of various sizes across Matabeleland North Province, contributing to sustainable energy solutions for rural households through siting, energy analysis, and BOQ production. ICRISAT Matopo Irrigation Scheme Feasibility Report (2020), Conducted a 50-ha irrigation feasibility study at the ICRISAT Matopo farm, analyzing soil, climate, and water resources for the installation of a drip and sprinkler irrigation system. Prepared a comprehensive feasibility report and recommendations. Welthungerhilfe Biogas Digesters for Poultry Value Chain Project (2021), Designed and installed biogas digesters in Murehwa, focusing on sustainable poultry farming. Responsibilities included siting, energy analysis, design, BOQ production, and construction supervision. CYVAT Greenhouse and Drip Irrigation Installation (2021), Led the installation of 250 m² greenhouses and drip irrigation systems at four schools in Lupane district, promoting modern agricultural practices and sustainability. FAO Marondera Biogas Feasibility Study (2022), Conducted a 100-cubic meter community biogas feasibility study in Wards 17 and 19 in Marondera district, assessing viability for biogas plant installation to support energy sustainability. Bingwa Conservancy Weir Design (2023), Conducted field surveys, designed a weir, and prepared BOQs for Bingwa Conservancy in Hwange district to improve water management. Advancing Agricultural Sustainability through AI (2024-2025), Principal Investigator for an AI-based livestock recognition project funded by ACTS through RCZ, aiming to improve cattle security and productivity. Sustainable Waste Management for Lupane District: A One Health Approach (2024-2025), Principal Investigator in an ILRI-funded project focused on implementing solid waste management technologies and providing community training to enhance public health and environmental sustainability. Modernization of Energy Education: Erasmus EU-Funded Project (2023-2026), Coordinator for Lupane State University, leading efforts to modernize energy education through curriculum updates, a remote laboratory, and project management in alignment with EU standards.
