Dock Supervisors are assigned with securing production, safety, and smooth operations on the loading dock. This is dynamic and fast-paced position, requiring high flexibility and multitasking.
Being a Warehouse Supervisor is a very demanding and fast-paced position. This position is in charge of overseeing and Supervising Safety, Order Selection procedures, Forklift procedures, general productivity
& production of all departments, and more.
Being in this position, it is required to ensure inventory is accurate for Forklifts to be capable of filling slots, and guaranteeing the Selection process is not missing any product to be shipped.
It is a Warehouse Supervisors duty & concern to secure a safe & clean warehouse before, during, and after the shift. This is done by always searching for safety & cleanliness hazards, and promptly making certain there are sanitation associates on scene should any be spotted.
A Warehouse Supervisor is tasked with making certain the attendance & lineup of associates is accurate and documented, coaching associates in being successful in the warehouse, properly watching over production and associates safety, and documenting any incidents throughout the shift.
The Order Selector position has provided me with expansive knowledge in stacking quality pallets & loads for stores, operating electric double pallet jacks, requiring constant motion and safe productivity, and working alongside tens of other associates in a busy environment.
It requires associates to meet their digitally timed expectation of a 100% production score by moving quickly, safely, and efficiently.
While meeting production, it is required of associates to stack their pallets with quality; ensuring no poor loads and or damaged cases are to be shipped to the stores.
Additionally, I was the Trainer for new Order Selectors. In this position, it was essential that I teach the new Order Selectors how to safely & efficiently operate equipment, utilize the "Jennifer System" to pick cases, coach them on how production works, and how to safely & efficiently meet their goals and expectations.
The department "Food/Consumables" is a fast paced position, requiring associates to perform tasks such as: Exceptional customer service, Unloading receiving trucks, Stocking, Inventory, and much more.
Associates in Food/Consumables are tasked with ensuring the grocery, frozen & dairy sections of the store are stocked, fronted, and ready for purchase for customers.
It is required in this position to always be ready to happily perform exceptional customer service, and ensure customers always feel comfortable to ask for assistance.
Additionally, it is a required duty for associates to always report, and fix any inventory discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction, and to guarantee the correct amount of product is being ordered.
Stock Clerk Associates are required to perform an array of tasks throughout their shift, this includes: Unloading Trucks, Customer Service, Stocking, and ensuring all departments are clean and ready for purchase for customers.
Stock Clerks are tasked with unloading early morning trucks, and staging the off-loaded pallets, preparing them to be down stacked and stocked for the remaining shift.
Throughout the shift, it is essential that Stock Clerks remain vigilant and always ready to provide extraordinary customer service, and additionally perform carry-outs for customers when needed.
As not only a Stock Clerk, but also as a Trainer, I was additionally entrusted with ensuring new associates are trained in each department, shown how to operate equipment, and coach them regarding how to perform excellent customer service.
