Projects
I volunteered in Mexico teaching English to kids from the age of 2 to 12. I lived there for about four months, from 08/19/21 to 12/14/21. Going into this opportunity I spoke very little Spanish. So, one of the biggest obstacles was learning how to communicate, and connect with the children where we both couldn't understand each other verbally. It really taught me how important other methods of communication are, that we don't always put as much emphasis on.
