Summary

I am a dedicated nursing student graduating in May 2024 with prospective skills in direct patient care, evidence-based practice, infection prevention and protocols, medication administration, etc. developed through clinical experience, research, and patient care related positions. I am eagerly seeking this opportunity to expand my experience in nursing while elevating patient care and best practices.

Professional Philosophy

Since I was welcomed into the nursing program at the University of Southern Mississippi, I have found my dedication and purpose to my community and beyond. I am dedicated to passionately serving people from all walks of life in various stages of health, illness, and age. Nursing has become my ladder to serving others while elevating my professional skills and experiences in the healthcare industry. I believe nurses are the ushers for change pioneering many health movements and educating the ill-knowledged on best practices that promote psychological and physiological wellbeing. I do not believe that nursing is soley a set of skills, yet it is a mindset that gallantly promotes service, kindness, passion, and selflessness. I believe that the nurse never stops learning, and I desire to be submerged in intentional learning environments. It is my duty as a prospective RN to ship patient-centered care by illuminating healthcare with advocation, kindness, intelligience, empathy, eagerness, and dedication.
