The achievements that were proven from my former job of being a receptionist in Signature Nails, I would use my social skills while greeting customers and talking on the phone for new appointments being made. The new appointments being made can also prove my appointments scheduling skills, along with my telephone skills due to communicating on the phone. Another skill that is proven would be my organization skills by folding the towels and placing them in the correct spots of the cabinets also to view the drawers to see if the pedicure towels drawers needs to be refilled with more towels. My last skill would be check out register skills, this skill can be shown through the times where customers are ready to pay through cash or card, I will be prepared to check them out.
As a receptionist, I would usually be in the front of the salon, greeting customers, checking out the customers at the cash register and picking up the phone to document future appointments. Other tasks I had to accomplish were to fold manicure/pedicure towels and store them in the cabinets, as well as start up the pedicure chairs by filling the chairs up with water and guiding the customers to their designated pedicure chairs.
