• Packaging orders: You would be responsible for accurately picking products from inventory, and carefully packaging them for shipment.
• Creating shipping labels: This includes using computer software to generate and print shipping labels for all outbound packages.
• Fulfilling online orders: You would manage orders from the company's website and other e-commerce platforms, ensuring that all customer requests are processed correctly and on time.
• Managing inventory: Job duties often include receiving new shipments, verifying items against purchase orders, and stocking the products in the appropriate warehouse or storage locations.
• Performing deliveries: You may be required to perform local deliveries for some orders.

• Order Picking: Locating specific items from inventory on shelves or storage units based on electronic prompts from a handheld scanner or other device.
• Scanning and Tracking: Using scanners to read barcodes on products and bins to ensure accurate inventory and order fulfillment.
• Loading and Transporting: Placing picked items into totes or carts, and moving them to conveyor belts or other designated areas for packing.
• Operating Equipment: Using powered industrial trucks (PIT), like forklifts, pallet drivers, or hand trucks, to move items around the warehouse.
• Packing and Staging: Preparing picked items for shipment by placing them in packages or on pallets.

Key Responsibilities.

• Inventory Management: Participating in inventory counts, organizing products, and ensuring the accurate location and status of goods.
• Quality Control: Inspecting items to ensure they meet quality requirements, and identifying any damaged or defective products before shipment.
• Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
• Technology Use: Operating various technologies, including handheld scanners, computers, and sometimes automated or robotic systems.
• Physical Stamina: Performing physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 49 pounds.
