31 Dialysis Stations, 9:1 Patients per RN

• Ensures dialysis machine are safe for use, programmed accurately with patient specific dialysis orders.
• Administers hemodialysis treatments in accordance to facility policies and adhering to strict infection control practices
• Monitors dialysis treatments, and vital signs closely watching for any emergent changes in the patient's condition.
• Communicates any issues to the physician as well as the patient's family, and staff.
• Provides skilled, timely and level-headed emergency response as needed.

31 Dialysis Stations, 12:1 Patient to RN Ratio

• Oversees all patient care activity in dialysis clinic, Supervises all staff RN's, LPN's and TechniciansInfection control, administration of vaccines, and Hepatitis B management per CDC guidelines
• Educated staff of proper infection control practices when caring for Hepatitis B positive patients on isolation precautions.
• Participates in patient care plan meetings, medical rounds updating orders by rounding nephrologists.
• Follows strict guidelines and reinforces of infection control practices according to CDC/CMS standards
• Manages teammate and patient scheduling adhering to state set ratios
• Responds to patient life-threatening complications, and emergencies in clinic.
• Interacts with local hospitals as a liaison to facilitate continuity of care.

9:1 Patient to RN ratio

• Administered dialysis treatments er physicians orders, IV medications, antibiotic as ordered by the nephrologist during treatments, and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Auscultates access for positive +bruit/thrill. Assisted with referrals of patients to vascular access clinic if abnormalities found during assessment.
• Advocated for and strived to protect health, safety, and rights of patient.
• Offered exceptional care and support to individuals recovering from acute incidents and coping with chronic disease.

Assisted residents in a skilled nursing facility with ADLs and provided direct aptient care as a CNA.
