  • Provided inpatient nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients, including but not limited to titrating vasoactive drips, managing PA catheters and art lines, ventilators, management of cardiogenic shock, and immediate postoperative cardiac surgery patients (CABGs, valves, aortic dissection/aortic aneurysm repairs).
  • Managed devices – including Impella, IABP, CRRT, LVADs, ECMO, and lumbar drains.
  • Collaborated with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  • Educated patients and families on health management and disease prevention. Assisted in developing individualized care plans for patients.
  • Charge Nurse – Lead and coordinate operations for a 25-bed CVICU during the night shift, supervising 10 to 15 nurses to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Monitor and align staffing with productivity goals, adjust assignments to meet acuity needs, and plan coverage for upcoming shifts to maintain continuity and compliance with hospital standards.
