Toledo Metro Parks volunteer, active member Green Ribbon Initiative and Wild Ones Oak Openings Chapter member through employment at Toledo Memorial Park.
Fall 2019 Collaborated with the Green Ribbon Initiative and Toledo Metro Parks to submit an application for native seed that was received by completing volunteer hours and time worked to prep 1.7 acre oak openings native wildflower prairie and walking paths with articles published by the Sylvania AdVantage and GRI newsletter. With some public interest I created and manage a Facebook page about the prairie in hopes of creating a platform to share the importance of plants for a balanced ecosystem.
