In my current role as a pediatric GI clinician, I take part in GI procedures for inpatients and outpatients, as well as an office component. For the office part it ranges from scheduling appointments, speaking with families regarding results and plan of care, working with social workers for court consent, sometimes coordinating with the clinic or operating room to combine or follow up with certain plan of care for a patient. As a GI clinician we see patients with ages ranging from infancy to 21 years of age.
