- Sort and count shirts, choose quilt size and style.
- Use shears to rough cut shirts.
- Stabilize fabric with fusible heat and bond product and industrial heat press.
- Cut stabilized shirts into perfect "blocks" using rotary cutter, self healing cutting mat, and various size plastic templates.
- Arrange blocks in columns and rows to create patchwork quilt "top". Sew blocks together according to arrangement.
- Load quilt top with backing fabric and batting onto long arm machine.
- Utilize computer connected to long arm quilting machine to choose design that will be quilted on patchwork quilt top. Let machine know to begin process of quilting.
- After quilting process is complete, quilt is trimmed and double fold binding is sewn to edge for finishing.
