Summary
I am a current reading teacher at YRTC who fulfills many duties beyond teaching reading. I currently assist the principal with many responsibilities such as MAP testing, STAR testing, PowerSchool management, and student data management. I am also the school improvement team lead and facilitate many additional duties involved between our school and the adults involved in the care of the current youth.
I am highly aware of the diverse needs and care for students with behavioral needs. All of our students have experienced significant trauma in their lives. This trauma has led to issues in all areas of their lives, including school.
