I was employed as a Class A CDL operator. I was responsible for the timely and safe pick up and drop off of tractor trailers to designated locations. My job responsibilities from the moment of arrival a the parking lot included :

• Put on Safety gear before exiting personal vehicle
• Clock into work app
• Pre trip inspection on designated Tractor of the day
• Report any safety and mechanical incidents
• Arrive at designated Post Office
• Help load and strap trailers
• Ensure Trailer doors have been securely closed with correct label and lacked correctly
• Safely hook up tractor to designated trailer
• Timely take off and arrival of shipment
• Docking and undocking 53' tractor trailers

• Performed thorough pre-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety and preventing potential issues.
• Operated with safety and skill to avoid accidents and delays.
• Dropped and hooked trailers and changed configuration of equipment.
• Inspected vehicle after every trip.
• Secured loads with proper strapping and bracing techniques to prevent damage to valuable assets across long-haul transports.
• Maintained daily, legible DOT log book and submitted corresponding documents.
• Achieved timely deliveries by planning efficient routes and adhering to schedules.
• Maintained safe driving record by observing road rules, remaining cautious, and alert in unfamiliar areas and keeping control of vehicle.
• Loaded and unloaded products at warehouses and customer locations using work vehicles.
