My experience from Fairmount Park Elementary has prepared me in a number of ways. I have experience with under preforming scholars and getting them on grade level with hard work and dedication. Tracking data is vital in order to differentiate instruction. I utilize small groups to focus on the skills that students are lacking. Student growth is an area I feel confident in. I understand that becoming a teacher in the middle of a school year is difficult and it first starts with building a positive relationship with scholars. Behavior management can be achieved by a consistent PBIS plan in place. With time, love, and dedication I know I can bring these scholars up to grade-level by the lost instruction they've had this year.
