• Provide infection prevention expertise across a 514-bed Level II Trauma Center, 100-bed and 120-bed community hospital , leading surveillance, outbreak response, regulatory readiness, quality improvement, and hospital-wide infection prevention initiatives.

• Lead comprehensive NHSN surveillance and reporting, including CAUTI, CLABSI, C. difficile, and MRSA, while maintaining infection prevention dashboards and using data trends to identify risks and drive performance improvement.
• Developed and implemented a multidisciplinary C. difficile quality improvement initiative that reduced cases from 7 in a single month to 2 over the subsequent 12 months (71% reduction in cases) through targeted staff education and focused infection prevention interventions.
• Supported both facilities through the COVID-19 pandemic, providing infection prevention guidance, surveillance, education, evolving regulatory updates, and implementation of evidence-based infection control practices.
• Lead regulatory and accreditation readiness, including preparation for surveys, evaluation of infection prevention compliance, identification of gaps, and collaboration with clinical and operational leadership to address deficiencies.
• Serve as an infection prevention subject matter expert and interdisciplinary resource, educating healthcare workers and leadership, presenting surveillance and quality data, conducting infection prevention risk assessments and rounding, and implementing evidence-based strategies to reduce healthcare-associated infections.

· Provided emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center, managing high-acuity and medically complex patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

· Delivered evidence-based care for trauma, stroke, sepsis, critical illness, and other emergent conditions, participating in rapid response and resuscitation efforts and maintaining patient safety during high-volume periods.

· Served as the on-duty RN during a Category 5 hurricane, providing continuous emergency care and supporting patient safety, emergency preparedness, resource management, and operational continuity during a major disaster event.
