I am a mom to six amazing children and a wife to a retired United States Air force veteran. Throughout my entire life I have struggled with my weight. After I had my sixth child in 2020, I decided I really wanted to change things and I started to take online courses for fitness and nutrition. At the time I worked for a gym called Genesis Health clubs in the kids club department. My roll was caring for children while parents would exercise. That roll led me to fall in love with the gym environment. I ended up getting certified through the gym to put on a kids fit classes each week. While working that job I dove into more education and became a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, fitness coach, pre and postnatal coaching specialist and a GGS-1 women’s coaching specialist. I am very passionate about working with women in all stages of their journeys and I feel very confident in being able to help a wide variety of different health circumstances. I have personally struggled with hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, food allergies, a rare genetic condition called CSID. I have used food and exercise to help heal my GI symptoms reverse my insulin resistance and I have been able to discontinue medications for hypothyroidism. I lost 133 pounds back in 2021 but still did not feel well at all. I dove into my own health and that is when I found out about having CSID. I had an emergency surgery which led me to slowly start gaining weight back and then I had to have a hysterectomy in 2023. I felt awful and I knew I needed to figure out how to feel better. I completely changed my way of eating, incorporated strength training and moving my body in ways I love like yoga, walking and Pilates. Since I implemented these changes I am back down over 60 pounds and have never felt better in my life! I would love to help other women accomplish this same feeling!
