Working with patients who need to order glasses and contacts specific to their needs prescribed by doctors. Able to work hands on to fix a variety of different eyewears to accommodate patients in need, as well as troubleshooting glasses for patients who are having a hard time adjusting to a new eyewear device. I filed claims with vision insurances companies and took payment for services when needed. Alongside working with patients, I took interest in working with frame reps and learned about our inventory in depth to better aid the styles of frames for the age demographics of the patients seen in the facility.
Working with students in grades K-12 by following classroom plans left by class teacher to continue student education and reinforce core concepts. Kept accurate and current attendance records and assignment sheets to maintain file compliance, and upheld classroom routines to support student environments and maintain consistent schedules.
First grade paraprofessional for the 2022-2023 school year. I helped children complete tasks in the classroom as well as work alongside the main room teachers to help children with their tasks and help tailor to each students individual needs. I also helped with administering tests and assessments and sat in the the room teacher to evaluate student progress and performance.

While working as a new optician at the Cheyenne Eye Clinic, I obtained employee of the quarter in the beginning of April, picked by everyone in our clinic. As I did work in a big facility, this accomplishment made me feel appreciated for all the hard work and dedication I put towards my optical services.
