Responsible to keep a strong safe & secure culture while driving a strong physical security presence for Target. Monitor who enters the entrance gate also look for any piggy backing into the parking lot for safety. Responsible for the safety of the employees/team members that enter & exit the Distribution Center. Monitor periodically the parking lot performing exterior patrols to ensure safety. Drive strong engagement with the team members entering & exiting the Target DC. Perform daily reports to rule out theft for merchandise located at the DC. Drive strong partnerships through the building with OM's, ICQA & HR. I own captainship over security freight of high value that is placed in the FC Security Aisle. I send out a weekly email to FC ICQA OM & the entire FC ICQA Team to make sure these high value items are stationed correctly. I perform daily Interior Patrols to make sure the DC is safe & secure to ensure safety of team members/staff. Assist team members with the creation of badges as needed. Perform daily screenings for selected team members to ensure safety & no threats enter the DC. Answer incoming calls to the DC answering questions for employees as needed or directing them to correct department. I maintain the parking gate to allow entrance of non Target employees such as rides for team members or vendors entering the building. Send out daily emails for team members selected for screening, team members with no badge & safe & secure email. I perform daily audits to ensure security freight is accounted for in the DC. I check man doors in the DC daily to verify doors are secure for safety. Perform overhead announcements over loud speaker for a medical emergency/incident (CodeGreen) when occurs in the DC. Responsible for contacting E&F when alarm panel goes off & when man doors are opened.
Responsible for packing correct product & correct amount to correct stores in overpack boxes that were shipped to multiple Target Stores. Once overpack was full I was responsible for lifting overpack from packing rack & closing taping overpack securely. Then placing overpack on mezz line to travel to the correct trailer door to be shipped to designated store. I was required to obtain a productivity expectation based on product type & production needs. I was responsible for keeping my work area clean throughout my shift. I also was responsible for replenishing packing labels, tape & overpack boxes as needed. During this duration of time I was a Packing Trainer for 6 years. I assisted team members with training development paperwork provided by our TOM. I would go over each step in the training program with the trainees & walk them through the circulum. I would then answer any questions about the training. I would perform training steps in the packing mods with new trainees teaching the job break down for packing. I would also ask for feedback or questions on the trainee to ensure that all team members were confident in training or if additional training was needed. I would perform SOW audits for the trainees to ensure that the job function was being performed correctly. I worked closely with the trainees ensuring that the tools needed were given to ensure trainee to be successful. I assisted trainees with completing Workday training tasks. I also led warm up for work several years for my Packing Team to help with safety. I performed overpack audits for new trainees to verify all product count was correct & accounted for.
