The Remedy Room
RE: Infusion Nurse
Dear Hiring Professional,
Please accept this letter as an expression of my interest in the Infusion Nurse position. I am a highly motivated and progress-focused LPN clinic nurse with a long-standing background in this industry. With a track record of initiative and dependability, I have devised strategic initiatives which I believe will prove valuable to The Remedy
Room.
Throughout the course of my career, I have perfected my assessing needs and problem resolution abilities. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency.
In my previous role, I contributed critical thinking, motivation, and patient support and education toward team efforts and business improvements. I am progressive minded and in tune with new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective and collaborative with strong time-management talents. I enjoy collective brainstorming sessions which allow me to coordinate activities to achieve a common goal.
Please take a moment to review my attached resume and credentials. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding my candidacy.
Thank you for your consideration.
Below are the requested answers to the questions noted on the job posting:
1.) Are you available to work weekends (4 weekend shifts per month)?
-Yes.
2.) Are you able to start IV's?
-Yes. Certification received during LPN school as well as experience from past employments.
3.) Why do you want to work at the Remedy Room, and why are you the best candidate?
-The Remedy Room has so much to offer and the patients that benefit from the treatments are inspiring. I would love nothing more than to be a part of this innovative healthcare and witness these benefits firsthand. From my experience in psychiatry, I know the mind, body and spirit is heavily connected. My passion and empathy would radiate in this environment.
4.) What do you think about "integrative health care" and the future direction of medicine?
-As mentioned above, the body as a whole, functions on different levels and the treatment we provide should reflect that. Recognizing these key differences and using a multitude of techniques are essential in healthcare.
5.) Please describe a time at work where you solved a problem. It can be something very small or complex, but please provide as many details as possible.
-There are many encounters that come to mind. In psychiatry, we had recently relocated to a new facility. We were considering safety options in which I recommended cameras in non-patient-based areas in addition to hallway mirrors. This would assist with being fully aware of your surroundings (E.g., around corners as well as patients walking behind you.) This was eventually implemented and has offered significant help to all being able to identify safety concerns and react appropriately.
I welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills to your team.
With regards,
Brittany P. Jones
