  • Hired at APCO as a utility assistant (groundman/helper) as they do not allow external lineman testing for a lineman position.
  • Helped operate a digger derrick truck and set poles for our distribution crew.
  • I bid into my current Apprentice Lineman position at the beginning of August 2025, as that was the soonest I had availability to do so.
  • During my time at APCO, I have operated equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, derrick trucks, backhoes, mini x's, forklifts, and skid steers.

  • Transferred to Clearwater, Florida to get overhead experience and finish my apprenticeship in February of 2021
  • Became switching and tagging/hotline certified on Duke Energy Florida system
  • Performed all switching and tagging duties for crews in ULCS Clearwater yard
  • Completed apprenticeship and obtained Journeyman certification through Florida Dept of Labor
