Growing up I played baseball non stop until I graduated. I've played on many different teams and because of that adapt well to working with new people and circumstances. For the past four years I have been growing and developing in three different construction jobs, resulting in many different people and constructions skills
As a Millwork Technician at Sunpro I am building parts and components to assemble custom doors. While working here I consistently use table saws, chop saws, sanders, planers ect. I work IN a team with four others and work with them to get our various orders done.
Red Deer is a contracting and deck building company, while working there I would do many different trades mostly finish work and electrical, but we would also do framing, sheetrock and plumbing. But deck building was our bread and butter, we would be deck building up until it got cold sometimes doing some decks in the winter months. While working here I gained many skills from framing out decks to wiring basements to roofing deck overheads. I also learned to manage my co-workers along with my time to more efficiently get jobs done.
Being a Finish Carpenter at Artisan was really my first construction experience. There I learned how to read a tape measure, make precise and complicated cuts, base, case, closets, and hanging doors.
At my various jobs I learned many differnt skills that have helped me get to where I am today
