Run and Setup 3, 4, and 5 axis Milling Machines. Ran a cell with 2 Horizontal Okuma MB4000H’s, I have worked on Makino A61s, Haas UMC 500, 750, and 1000s. I now run Three Doosan DNM5700s. I set up, and run parts per blueprint specifications, editing programs when needed to adjust for Feeds and Speeds to accommodate a finish within the requirements of the print. General maintenance of machine including coolant, oil, and lubrication upkeep. At Schackelford, we run Aerospace parts with very tight tolerances that helped me hone in my skills on nailing tight windows of accuracy while machining.
Mockry and sons was my first shop. I started there in Deburr. Eventually worked my way onto a 3-axis VMC 480 Bridgeport, where I learned how to do old school machining. Manual touch offs, indicators, and edge finders. From there I moved to the Makino A61 Horizontal machines we had there and took over that cell for a few years. It was a small shop, so I did just about everything there from assembly to driving the parts to our customers.
