I was in charge of managing and directing groups of volunteers in order to teach and help educate young children with physical and mental disabilities to safely ride bikes.
I have been riding and racing bikes 6 years. I am currently racing for Cleveland Cycling Academy as well as on a colligate team at Marian University. I have had a lot of success with this sport, helping Marian win the 2023 Track National Championships as well as getting on the podium at the 2024 colligate Cyclo-cross national championships. This sport requires a lot of devotion and I am riding my bike for training anywhere between 15-22 hours in a week as well as spending 10-15 hours a week in the gym. I travel a lot of racing as well as training. I have learned many life lessons in this sport. Learning how to stand up for myself and also learning how to give up what I want for what the team or my coach/director wants.
