Broden Markovitz

Experienced videographer and production crew member. Have worked as a production assistant, sound mixer, boom operator, and casting director for multiple Kent State University student produced films, some of which have been featured in film festivals such as the KinoDrome International Motion Picture & Screenplay Festival and the Highland Square Film Festival.

Additionally, I am employed with Kent State TeleProductions and have been a camera operator for several Kent State Athletics events. Prior to that I was a videographer for Kent State's Football coaching staff.

I am currently slated to be a producer for the production side of this year's 55th Annual Cleveland Regional Emmy's along side others from Kent State University's School of Media and Journalism.

Production Assistant for Powerball, a film produced by Kent State University students which has won awards at the Flash Film Festival and is currently slated to air at the Highland Square Film Festival.




Won an award for "Best New Talent" in Spring 2022 at the Kent State Student Media Banquet.




Directed and produced my own short film titled "Strikeball: A Brody Markovitz Documentary" at Kent State University.
