I started my first job at 15 years old as a window cleaner in my dads business. I learned a lot including safety protocols, cleaning methods, high attention to detail, work ethic, and customer service.

My duties were:

• Apply water and soap to glass with non-scratch applicator and remove with rubber squeegee blade to reduce streaks.
• Performed detailing tasks using microfiber and toweling cloths to remove excess moisture from window sills and tracks.
• Maintained a high level of safety by working together constantly, including holding ladders for each other when washing high windows.
• Reduced time spent on each job by implementing efficient cleaning techniques, resulting in increased daily productivity.
• Collaborated effectively with my dad to complete jobs within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Streamlined workflow by organizing supplies and equipment prior to each job site visit.
• Maintained high customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service with every job.
• Secured repeat business by consistently surpassing client expectations with quality workmanship.
• Identified potential issues with windows or building structures, reporting them promptly to clients for timely resolution.

After some time we expanded, beginning to do pressure washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning and Christmas light installations in the winter months. These taught me many brand new skill sets and gave me experience with being adaptable in my positions at work.

I started swim lessons while working towards my lifeguard certification. I was trained as head teacher for every level and age group.

My duties as swim instructor are:

• Teach daily swim instruction to students varying in ages and skill levels.
• Promote a fun learning environment through engaging activities and games designed to reinforce essential swimming skills.
• Improve swimmer confidence by providing consistent positive reinforcement and constructive feedback on technique.
• Use teaching aids such as kickboards, diving rings, and fins, and teach students how to use them properly.
• Provide positive reinforcement and motivation to increase student confidence and performance.
• Assesse student skill levels at the end of each session to ensure proper class placement and maximize opportunities for growth and development.
• Mentor and train new swim instructors on best practices and effective teaching strategies.

I expanded from group swim to private lessons. I continue to do private swim lessons now. I teach a multitude of kids at many ages and skill levels.

My duties as private swim instructor are:

• Retain notes of strengths and weaknesses of each child to track progress.
• Enhance student swimming abilities through the development and implementation of personalized lesson plans.
• Adapt teaching techniques to different learning styles.
• Communicate clearly and positively with parents to ensure expectations were met and exceeded.
• Encourage parent involvement in their child's aquatic education through regular communication about progress and swimming outside of lessons.

While working as swim Instructor and lifeguard I also took shifts working at the front desk of our facility.

My duties working front desk are:

• Maintaining accurate records of members information, ensuring smooth communication between departments.
• Resolving member concerns efficiently, contributing to increased customer satisfaction scores.
• Assisting members in booking tennis court reservations, resulting in increased occupancy rates and revenue generation.
• Manage a high volume of incoming calls, directing callers to appropriate personnel or assisting with their needs.
• Enhancing member satisfaction by providing exceptional front desk service and promptly addressing inquiries.
• Conducting routine inventory checks of front desk supplies, placing orders requests as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitoring security cameras regularly to ensure a safe environment for guests and employees alike.
• Balance daily cash drawer and processed payments accurately, maintaining financial integrity of the front desk.
• Oversee fast-paced front desk operations and guests' needs at busy facility.
• Process new memberships, input all new member information into our system, file applications accordingly.

I eventually became the lead for a monthly kids event.

My duties for running the kids event are:

• Making sure the facility is prepped and ready for the multitude of kids coming in for the night.
• Manage the long line of parents and children waiting to register and start their night.
• Process paperwork and take payment for every family in attendance.
• Gather all kids and go over safety procedures and rules before letting them enjoy their night.
• Maintain a safe yet fun environment for all kids and staff throughout the entire night.
• Walk around during the event to make sure none of the kids are going places they aren't supposed to.
• Make sure food is ordered and kids drink plenty of water throughout the night.
• Check in with the lifeguards regularly to make sure there isn't anything they need.

I became a lifeguard at Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center after completing my red cross certification.

My duties as a lifeguard include:

• Constant and vigilant watch over the pool, making sure all patrons are safe and following the rules.
• Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or complaints from pool patrons promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and rescues that occur during shifts.
• Maintaining records of the total amount of people coming into the pool for our accounts.
• Checking pool chemical levels once per shift and adding anything needed to maintain healthy levels of chlorine and salt.
• Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid and CPR to offer individuals in distress optimal support.

After working 2 years as a lifeguard I was promoted to the head lifeguard of the facility.

My duties as head lifeguard include:

• Maintaining accurate records of the pool chemicals, stock of items, and informing the other lifeguards what needs to be done to maintain the pool.
• Supervise a team of 11 lifeguards, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pool patrons.
• Perform regular inspections of pool facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and manage team of lifeguards on pool safety and risk management protocols.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall pool safety measures.
• Cooperate fully with manager to identify areas of concern and ascertain reliable methods for remediation.
• Ensure optimal pool water quality by monitoring chemical levels and maintaining proper filtration systems.
• Conduct regular equipment checks, maintaining high standards of operational readiness and safety.
• Address and resolve guest complaints, leading to increased satisfaction and positive feedback.
