  • M-Day 15R Soldier who performs UH-60A/L/M and CH-47F aircraft maintenance one weekend a month, and AH-64E aircraft maintenance two weeks out of the year for Annual Training.
  • Related Skills and Experience: (Two Airframes)
  • Removal and installation of the AH-64 APU, No. 1 Engine, No. 2 Engine, Main Transmission, Mixer Assembly, Rotor Head, Both Nose Gearboxes, Intermediate Gearbox, Driveshafts, Servo Cylinders, Tail rotor Gearbox, Rotor Blades, Pilot and Co-Pilot Seat Assemblies, and Access Panels.
  • I also have properly made measurements and shimmed the primary and secondary scissor links.
  • Removal and installation of the UH-60M rotor blades. Driveshaft shimming, rigging, installing viscous couplers and verifying their alignment, removing APUs, removing and installing window glass, as well as removing and reinstalling cockpit doors.
  • I am gaining familiarity with the CH-47F TM 1-1520-271-20&P along with other technical manuals. While completing tasks from technical manuals, I work in accordance with GEN-24-AMAM-01 Addendum 2 as well as the TM 1-1500-204-23 series. I refer back to the GEN-24-AMAM or the 204 series if any questions arise. I follow all safety precautions in the warnings, cautions, and notes in all technical manuals (i.e. foreign object damage (FOD) and safety glasses/gloves). Following the completion of these tasks, I check and perform any follow on maintenance. Throughout these tasks, I gained the skills to write DA Form 2408-13-1's and 2408-13-2's in the Aircraft Notebook (ACN).
