- "A" Operator (Lead Winder Operator): As the "A" Operator of the winder, I oversee the overall operations of the winder, as well as the overall roll quality. I take part in the troubleshooting of mechanical and operational issues. Also, I assist in shutting down the machine during an outage, as directed by supervision.
- "B" Operator: Cut paper cores to the exact length needed for the winder to roll the paper, per the customer's request. Also, plug the cores as they come off the winder.
