Highly motivated and community-focused individual with a passion for service, a strong academic foundation, and a demonstrated commitment to leadership, seeking to drive positive change. Aspiring to pursue a degree in Psychology to become a psychologist dedicated to empowering children, particularly those who are overlooked and underserved. Eager to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to understand human behavior, address mental health disparities, and contribute to building stronger, more equitable communities, ultimately making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of others.

Co-Founder/President, Female Empowerment Club, BVPHS, September 2023- Present

- Planned and organized Annual Hygiene Drives partnering with Rhode Island's Amenity Aid and MLK jr Center.  

- Collaborated with administration to have BVPHS's first free female hygiene product dispenser installed.

- Led Awareness Campaigns during Black History Month and Women's History Month.

- Coordinated fundraiser for humanitarian aid for women in Gaza 

Vice-President, Gender and Sexuality Alliance, BVPHS, August 2021- June 2023

- Co-Led Awareness and Anti-bullying Campaigns

- Organized diversity and anti-bullying school wide assemblies

- Met with administration to establish a procedure that avoid trans students being dead named in yearbook and other identifications.  

- Provided mental health resources for LGBTQ+ students in school newsletter

- Co-coordinated fundraisers for the Trevor Project and Human Rights Campaign

- Developed and co-ran PRIDE shop, selling snacks at sporting events to raise money for school events.

Youth Commissioner, Cumberland Youth Commission, August 2021- Present

- Fundraised for the self-made, long-running, annual 'Home Heating Assistance' program, raising over $1200 yr. to help Cumberland families who need help paying their heating bill

- Visited local senior center during holidays, hosting arts and crafts activity

- Provided child care services to families in need on days Cumberland Schools were closed

- Engaged in weekly discussions about what problem are present in our community and what we could do to help
