Theatre is an integral part of The Well's School curriculum. The school prioritizes the importance of knowing how to speak your voice on stage, and in public. Theatre also helps students to learn to collaborate, work together, and support one another through what can be a stressful situation, like being on stage. The theatre program also helps to enhance one's own inhibitions, understand what it means to be present and focused, as well as memorize lines and be responsible for your actions and how that can affect others. Some of my duties as the Theatre Director are as follows.
