  • Updated Dependency application/record of emergency data and Service Group Life Insurance (PG2’s & SGLI)—It is critical that members verify and update their PG2’s & SGLI because of the nature of the forms themselves which provide points of contacts in various situations and also designates recipients of large sums of money.

  • As Command Sponsor Coordinator, reviewed all orders of incoming Sailors. Responsible for assigning each member with a sponsor and a Welcome Aboard Package. Additionally, kept sponsor tracker updated with sponsor assigned and when package was sent.
  • Submitted annual reviews of all command directives based on the month the directive was signed. Responsible for all updates and cancellation of directives. Update the Coordinate Directive Review Notice 5215.
  • Processed numerous awards to include, Meritorious Service Medals, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and Civilian Time in Service Awards.
  • Track from start to finish all Sailors and family members deploying in support of OEF and OIF was briefed in accordance with the IA Handbook. Ensured all screenings and requirements were completed and uploaded into BUPERS on Line (BOL)/PERSTEMPO.
  • Ensured all Sailors were Time in Rate (TIR) eligible for the advancement exam by use of the Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS). As the Educational Service Officer, closely worked with Personnel Support Detachment to ensure all worksheets were correct and submitted ahead of deadline.
