I’ve felt truly honored to spend the past several months helping care for my 90-year-old grandparents. After living across the country for the past few years, being close to them again and having the opportunity to help make their everyday lives a little easier has been incredibly meaningful to me.

• Provide compassionate day-to-day support while helping ensure their comfort, safety, independence, and dignity.
• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily routines.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and help maintain consistent daily routines.
• Prepare tasty, nourishing meals with an emphasis on good nutrition and individual preferences.
• Provide dependable transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, social activities, and other necessary errands.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and practical support to help them remain comfortable and engaged in their everyday lives.

Co-owned and helped grow a retail business for 13 years, building a warm, welcoming environment for both customers and employees. Expanding to four stores and two kiosks while developing strong, lasting relationships with our team and community.

• Identified high-potential retail locations, negotiated favorable leases, and helped establish each store in a strong position for success.
• Designed and built inviting, well-lit, engaging retail spaces that created a welcoming customer experience.
• Hired, trained, and supported employees while providing ongoing education and development to help our team grow.
• Built strong relationships with local telecommunications companies, creating referral partnerships that brought new customers to our stores.

Aimee Dugan lived in my home for 7 years. She was 92-99 years old. I loved her deeply and she told everyone she met that I "took such great care of her" which always made me smile.

• Managed medication schedules and ensured timely administration.

• Implemented safety protocols to create a secure living a for clients.
• Prepared and served balanced and nutritious meals.
• Monitored vital signs of patients when necessary and reported changes to the appropriate personnel and kept detailed records of services rendered and progress made by patients over time.
• Performed all housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and changing bed linens.
• Encouraged physical activity through walks outside or simple exercises indoors.
• Provided emotional support and encouragement when client was ill or injured.
