During my senior year, I collaborated with three other students to design a digital/finger pressure sensor prototype for a major hospital in the Peoria area. The sensor’s primary objective was to measure the pressure of an infant’s anterior fontanelle. To accomplish this, I utilized Creo, a 3D CAD software, to create a detailed sensor model. Our team’s efforts resulted in a functional prototype that could potentially aid in the diagnosis and treatment of infants with abnormal fontanelle pressure.
