Job Shadowing

Job shadowed a speech pathologist multiple times since 2021. Shadowed her at Pelican Pediatric Therapy and Janey Macey and Associates. During these visits I was able to sit in on multiple sessions ranging for all different treatments and be able to observe and get an idea of how therapy sessions work. I was able to observe using an alternative way of communication to teach a patient that is fully nonverbal and many other neat things. Shadowing allowed me to see how not every session is the same and that your day ranges with the level of therapy depending of the patient
