Brooke McCollam

Current student at the University of South Carolina. Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Art History with a double minor in Dance and Entrepreneurship, with plans to pursue a masters degree. I've had a variety of leadership roles and experiences through dance and church that have given me a confidence for stepping into new environments quickly. I love meeting new people and learning new things. I'm great with kids and remain calm in stressful situations. I'm a dedicated and hard worker with great communication skills.

 2021 - Present  

Design, hand-make, and sell crowns and other headpieces/jewelry  for shows, competitions, etc… Website  launched this summer.

• Attendee at Shandon Baptist Church - Volunteer in student leadership program
• Plan to volunteer at the Columbia Museum of Art in the Fall of 2024
• Entrepreneur - just launched a jewelry website with hopes of making sales and growing my business.

• Front Desk Children's Check-in - Greeted Parents and Children and checked them into Children's Church each Sunday
• Dance A Difference - Coordinated a free dance class for children with special needs in the local community.
• Art Camp Dance Teacher - Developed curriculum and taught week long dance classes.

• Okatie Youth Ballet Student, (Ballet and Modern) - Performed in two shows a year and competed in two competitions a year. Won student choreography award senior year.
• Cornerstone Church, Volunteer, Attended service every Sunday morning and volunteered in the kids area. Participated in other community service activities with Cornerstone.
• Charlotte Mason Co-op student - Composer study, Plutarch, Picture Study, folk dancing, Logic, Shakespeare, Nature study, Brush drawing, Swedish drill, Solfege, Hymn Study, Knot tying, Objects lessons, American sign language, Handicrafts.- classes varied each semester.
