  • As theater manager I oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the theater and customer satisfaction. I assist theater employees with their work, communicating with front of house staff, administrative employees, and projectionists so that all needs are met and tasks are handled efficiently. Handle problematic customers and clients to assist lower-level employees and maintain excellent customer service. For theater events I am responsible for greeting guest speakers and preparing the space for intros/Q&A's, often introducing the film myself. I perform all opening and closing responsibilities, including prepping the theater for business in the morning and closing at night (counting cash drawers, running daily reports, shutting down).
  • As a front of house employee I engage directly with patrons, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. I work in the box office, managing ticket sales processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and handling membership needs. As an usher, I guide guests to the correct theater, call the projectionist to start the film, and clean the theaters after films. At the concession stand I prepare food and drinks, uphold a sanitary space up to food safety standards, and thoroughly clean at the end of the night.
